Similarly, as I approach my 40th next month, I'm finding the greatest delight in the simplest pleasures. In my case, it's walking the same route every day, watching how the landscaping changes with the seasons, and taking pictures of the beautiful flowers growing in other people's yards.

Less pressure, more simplicity = greater fulfilment. I particularly loved your anecdote about visiting the framers - experiences like that are definitely an antidote to the modern world!

Great post! I have also let go of the idea that an entire has to be great. There are so many things behind our control. However I have definitely told myself that I will focus more on those small ‘sunshine moments’. I think we need that now more than ever!
